BPK optimizes performance measurement framework

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - The Indonesian Supreme Audit Board (BPK) has sought to optimize the Performance Measurement Framework (PMF) in order to improve the professionalism of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAI) in Asia, the Indonesian Supreme Audit Board Chairman, Harry Azhar Azis, said. "We are aware of the importance of implementing the performance measurement framework, in order to strengthen the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions," Harry said in a statement received by Antara here on Wednesday.

Earlier, the Indonesian Supreme Audit Board had organized the 51st Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) Governing Board Meeting in Bali on Feb 13 and 14, 2017.

The meeting was participated by 15 countries to discuss the strategic developments of ASOSAI and its future plans. The PMF has become the basis for SAI to assess their performance in line with best international practices in six major domains, namely Independence and Legal Framework; Internal Governance and Ethics; Audit Quality and Reporting; Financial Management, Assets and Support Structures; Human Resources and Training; and Communication and Stakeholder Management.
