REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Police have confirmed perpetrator who stabbed three policemen in the Tangerang, Banten, SA (21) was a member of the network Jamaah Anshor Daulah Khilafah Nusantara (JADKN) which is led by Aman Abdurrahman. "SA was a part of Aman Abdurrahman cells," said National Police spokesman Insp. Gen. Boy Rafli Amar, at the Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Friday (10/21).

The police revealed SA recently had often chatted with IS members, According to Boy, suspect's family did not know SA's activities. "The family had tried to keep an eye on him, but he is introverted and often left the house," he said.

From the results of the investigation, the police known that the SA went to Nusakambangan Prison, Cilacap, Central Java, along with the head of Islamic Boarding School Tahfidz Alquran Anshorullah, Cleric Fauzan Al-Anshori (deceased) in June 2015. "SA came and visited Aman Abdurrahman," he said.

SA is also known joined Tahfidz Alquran Anshorullah located at the Cisaga Subdistrict, Ciamis, West Java. From June to October 2015, SA actively learned in the Islamic boarding school. "His parents seek him there and picked him up, but then he escaped," he said.

As reported by Antara, the National police chief General Tito Karnavian said SA was then sworn in at the boarding school. SA had often communicated with IS through a website or chatting application. "SA often communicated online using a website with IS members. He was carried away, falling for the IS' ideology which is what prompted his actions," Tito pointed out during a visit to inquire about the injured policemen currently being treated at the Siloam Hospital in Karawaci, Tangerang, Banten.

On Thursday (10/20) morning, SA brutally attacked three policemen with a cleaver. It happened at the Yuppentek school area, Cikokol, Tangerang. He was bleed to death after two gunshot at his thigh and another one at his abdomen.

Stabbed by SA, the Tangerang Metro Police chief Commissioner Efendi badly injured with traumatized heart. He was being treated at the Siloam Hospital, Tangerang. First Inspector (Iptu) Bambang Haryadi was stabbed in the abdomen. While traffic police Chief. Brig Sukardi suffered wound in his back and right arm. Both of them hospitalized at the Tangerang Regional Hospital.
