Governor says Pokemon Go can sell Central Java tourism

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SEMARANG - Governor of Central Java (Jateng) Ganjar Pranowo said Pokemon Go game can be utilized as positive thing such as selling the Central Java tourism.

"It could be important if we are innovative and creative, such as selling tourism. Today Pokemon in Lawang Sewu, Borobudur Temple, Prambanan Temple, then people will come to there," he said in Semarang on Wednesday (20/7).

According Ganjar, if Pokemon Go played without innovative and creative thing, it waste of time. However Ganjar does not prohibit the civil servants (PNS) in the Central Java in order not play Pokemon Go.

"Civil servants must know and realize, play Pokemon Go is allowed, but must know the time. We need awareness," he said.

In addition has ordered the civil servants to seriously working to serve the people, Ganjar also asked the parents to supervise their children who play Pokemon Go.

"Supervision is important thing to ensure children are not addicted playing Pokemon Go," he said.
