REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesian Muslim fashion market is incredible huge nationally and globally. This led to optimism that Indonesia could become a centre of Muslim fashion world, hopping that by 2020 this vision could be achieved.

There are various factors that make Muslim fashion continues to grow, such as the emergence of many communities, event bazaars, fashion shows and Muslim pop up event market. Pop market was initiated by Muslimarket.com through the SOUQ.

SOUQ is a Muslim first pop-up market in Jakarta, which was held for urban Muslims. SOUQ will take place  from 23 to June 26, 2016 at The Space Senayan City. Bazaar titled SOUQ Pop Up that will be filled by tenant clothing, cosmetics, home décor accessories, up to culinary kosher.

SOUQ will also hold a talk show and mini-workshop through the SOUQ Class program. This event presents a variety of interesting topics such as fashion, business, halal trip favorite topics and more will be held for four days. The speakers were present, among others Ustad Karim Fatih, Risty Tagor, Jenahara, Wirda Mansyur, Restu Anggraini, We Idea, and Gen Halilintar.

Muslimarket.com as organizers of SOUQ which was considered one of the first Muslim Indonesian marketplaces that combines shopping activities by empowering the Muslim community in Indonesia. CEO Muslimarket.com, Riel Tasmaya said the purpose of this event, to expose the Muslim designers by building a Muslim community with a more modern style. This is of course for the economic empowerment of Muslims.

Going forward, Souq also will do a road show to several major cities in the country. Additionally, Muslimarket.com strongly supports Muslim communities in Indonesia. Approximately more than 50 Muslim fashion designers and brands are participating, among others, such as Jenahara, Restu Anggraini, Kamiidea, Ria Miranda, Dewi Sandra and many more.
