REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- General Manager Corporate Secretary of “PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol” Ellen Gaby Tulangow continues to implement special tips to prevent the visitors from quickly getting bored of the units in Ancol recreation.
"The key is in innovation and hospitality. When we cannot innovate, visitors will not come anymore," said Ellen during the discussion with Republika.co.id from the activities “Republika Goes to Office”, Friday (17/6).
Not only that, Ellen revealed, it is understandable that people will immediately get bored if there is no innovation, based on the psychological condition of Indonesian people, especially those living in Greater Jakarta. In fact, according to Ellen, in the last 10 years, PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol has always build new rides in its recreation unit.
"Moreover, Indonesian people are prone to get bored. So in the span of 10 years we are always making new rides," he said.
Ellen added, when you enter, visitors will be made to feel more comfortable with the best services providing that are provided by the managers. The same thing also is also delivered by the Operations Manager of Fantasy World (Dufan) John Ramos Butar-Butar.
According to him, in particular, Fantasy World has always made innovations to make it a strategic marketing program to appeal to visitor that Dufan is always an option to spend your vacation.
John also gave an example, with their motor vehicle registration program as part of a promotional event to get into Dufan.
"We are also encouraging middle class Indonesian to be available to Dufan. Once you enter into dufan, we will serve them well wholeheartedly. Maybe, this is the reason why people always come back to Ancol," he said.
