REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Safety has become the top priority concern of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol. Rides in Fantasy World (Dufan) are mainly checked up daily per year.
Nasaruddin, Manager of Engineer of Dufan explained, Dufan has 30 rides that have different levels of handling priority. All the security risks and safety are to be the paramount of consideration.
"Starting from 7 in the morning we have already started a routine checking, and also some maintenance checking that are daily, weekly, monthly, and periodically per year,” said Nasruddin at Mermaid Cottage Ancol, Jakarta, Friday (17/6).
Treatments per year are done when it’s low season. Where there are fewer visitors, and are usually during the fasting month and in the preparation of the long holiday that are usually crowded.
Every day, before starting, the rides must be first tested by the mechanical. When it is inspected and is considered safe, then it is given to the operational staff for to be enjoyed by visitors.
"We also have a clean Friday event, where we clean all the rides,” said Nasaruddin.
In addition to safety, Nasrudin also confirmed that appearance and comfort is also a concern. Visitors are more attracted when it looks clean and safe.
