REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Ocean Dream Samudra in Ancol not only has dolphins but also include sea lion as its favorite attraction for the visitors. Overall there are 10 Sea Lions in Ocean Dream Samudra and the male sea lion weighs more than 200 kilograms .
“Nano, the sea lion is already 17 years old and is the oldest one in here (at Ocean Dream Samudra, ed)," said Dedi Samsidar a sea lion trainer at Ocean Dream Samudra , Ancol .
The weight of his body is huge since Nano ate more than 12 kilograms of fish every day.
"Although his body is big, he is still agile in his movements and performs very well,” said Dedi.
The sea lion could not be separated from the observation and care of veterinarians who are always on guard every day to oversee the state and health of these sea lions.
"Besides food, vitamins are also a necessity that must be given to the animals there," he said.
