REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BOGOR -- The Bogor City administration, West Java held a competition the name of flower and fruit festival.
"The nick name should be short and easy. So, people can remember the name of this festival easily," said the Bogor Mayor Bima Arya, on Monday (13/6).
He explained, the international name will be different from previous years.
Known, Fruit and Flower Festival (FBBN) in 2016 is the fourth festival presented by Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). The event will be held for four days from November 17 to 20, 2016.Besides, the nick name to support FBBN as one of the icons of the Bogor city.
"FBBN is one of the three largest festivals which became an icon of the city of Bogor," Bima Said.
In the event, Bima continued, will show the peculiarities of local flowers and fruit to the name of the city of Bogor in the tourism sector. FBBN carnival will also show the beauty around Bogor Botanical Gardens (KRB), which can be seen by residents of Bogor.
"Maximizing the festival, Bogor city administration also pursuing the completion of the construction of pedestrian around KRB," Bima said.
