REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SEMARANG - Semarang Police apprehend terrorists who threatened to blow up the office of PT Pertamina Marketing Operation Region IV Central Java and Yogyakarta, Semarang, Wednesday (1/6).
Unknown perpetrators named Nurul Fazri (32) which is nothing more than an employee of Cooperative Pertamina Persadan IV. Perpetrators are brought to the Police station Semarang, known to be stationed at the institutions that is threatened to be detonated.
When asked, Nurul confessed desperately of sending the short messages of threat because he feel hurt. The perpetrator felt heartache for allegedly stealing the money of Rp 25 million a year ago. "I send an SMS to the Cooperative Chairman Mr. Suban," he said.
In fact, he admitted that he had tried to return the money in question but was rejected. Annoyed, he then determined to send SMS by providing new mobile phone number and then immediately discard it.
After sending an SMS threat on Wednesday (1/6) morning, the perpetrator was also still went to work and participate in the evacuation when the bomb squad team Central Java Police Mobile Brigade starts to conduct a search. Currently, the perpetrator was examined intensively in Police station Semarang.
Earlier, the office of PT Pertamina Marketing Operation Region IV Central Java and Yogyakarta, Semarang received threats sent by text message. Its contents, the perpetrator said s/he would blow up the office.
A spokesman for PT Pertamina Marketing Operation Region IV Suyanto confirmed the short message containing the threat received by one of the employees of the information technology department. Tim Gegana Central Java Police Mobile Brigade deployed to the scene to sweep.
Suyanto explained, the threat of short messages received around 07.30 pm. "It was not specific about bombs, but just the threat that it will blow up," he said.
