REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAMUJU -- The West Sulawesi provincial government will send its students to Switzerland to continue studying tourism development in a bid to improve capacity among local human resources following the implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), an official has said.

"The West Sulawesi government will send three of its university students to Switzerland annually starting from 2017 to continue studying tourism and hotel management," according to the Head of the Provincial Education and Culture Affairs office, H.Muzakkir Kulasse here on Thursday.

The West Sulawesi and Switzerland government have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding the plan to send the students that will be funded by the local government, Muzakkir pointed out.

Muzakkir further said West Sulawesi actually has many interesting tourist spots that can be developed to lure a great number of foreign visitors.
