REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The unfolding Panama Paper uncover the list of names tax evaders from various country, quite surprising everyone. From ten of thousand of list of names in tax haven, there is 2.961 listed names that from Indonesia, in form of person names or the company names.
One of them is Ichsanuddin Noorsy, that all this time been known very loud sounding struggle against liberal economy system power in Indonesia. Ichsanuddin explained, how his named can be listed in a list of tax evaders Panama Papers.
He explained his involvement in tax haven in Panama is not mean he involve in tax evasion. "My name indeed on the list, but my name included to several investigation project. Among them related to BLBI investigation," Ichsanuddin said on Tuesday.
This occurs by his experience in international economy investigation and whether he want it or not force him to involve in the tax haven countries. Ichsanuddin claimed no one can investigate with the classy way like him as international economy expert.
His involvement in the tax haven countries according to academic experience to uncover something. ''I did not need defense, what for I needed defense, it is no use,'' Ichsanuddin said.
Previously, investigative journalist Panama Papers uncover the names of official that become actor of money laundering international. There is several tycoons from Indonesia that on the Panama Papers list, include Ichsanuddin Noorsy.
