REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo have decide Masela block build on the on shore. Presidential Spokeperson Johan Budi said the decision not related to noise between ministers about the project that valued hundreds trillion rupiah.
"This decision has been thought seriously by President with various considerations, not just relate to the revenue," Johan said on Wednesday.
Polemic about the Masela block development options last long enough. Coordinator Maritime Affair Minister Rizal Ramli wants the project build on on shore.
But, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said want the Masela block developed on off shore according to his ministry study. The different of stance between Rizal and Sudirman make them argued each other intensely.
