REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- DKI Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama unwilling to pair with Yusril Ihza Mahendra on Gubernatorial election in 2017.

Governor familiarly called Ahok once said Jakarta does not need smart people to lead. Ahok explained Jakarta need more firm leader.

There are lot of smart people in Jakarta but the firm type only a few.

Ahok classify Yusril as smart person.

"Why I have to pairing with smart person like that. I'm troubled," Ahok said on Tuesday (23/2).

Former North Belitung Regent prefer paired with current Vice Governor DKI Djarot Saiful Hidayat. Because, Ahok wants representative figure that works instead of overstepping his authority. According to Ahok wish, Djarot is the right figure.

" If I am paired with Djarot, ok I run, no problem," said Ahok.
