REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- After one day taking office, Depok Mayor Idris Abdul Shomat revoke one day no rice (ODNR) and one day no car (ODNC) programs. Idris sees the programs are not effective.

"Start from tomorrow, Tuesday (23/2), no ONDR and ODNC programs," said Idris on Tuesday (23/2).

The ODNR and ODNC programs is the previous mayor programs, Nur Mahmudi Ismail.

The ODNR and ODNC has been evaluated and seen not effective. "We support food security but not forbid people to eat rice. We also encourage society to maintain agricultural land," said Idris.
