REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- At least 11 universities and colleges from the Philippines will participate in Indonesia's largest education exhibition: "World Education Expo Festival (WEEF) 2016" to be held in Balai Kartini on February 20 and 21.
A Filipino delegation to be headed by the Trade and Industry Department, will promote the Philippines as a strategic education destination offering affordable education, the Philippines' embassy said in a statement on Wednesday.
Filipino Ambassador to Indonesia, Maria Isleta, said her country offers many benefits to Indonesians wanting to study in the Philippines.
The two countries are geographically close, the Philippines' universities are of good quality, education fee and living costs are affordable, English is the main language used in the class room, and its culture is similar to Indonesia.
