REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Angolan government has invited Indonesian businesses to invest in the maritime and fishery sector in the African country, according to the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin).
"Angola has great potential in fisheries," Kadin Chairman for Maritime and Fisheries Yugi Prayanto said, in a written statement here on Tuesday.
According to Yugi, Indonesian fishery businesses in Angola can invest not only in catching fish, but also in cultured fish and the fish processing industry.
"The most probable business deal is cooperation in trade, but investing also has good prospects," noted Yugi.
He said that his organization would visit Angola in the near future to directly observe the African country?s fishery potential.
According to Yugi, as Angola offers fishery investment opportunities, Indonesian businesses are also expected to receive assistance from the Angolan government.
