REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SLEMAN -- Students of University of Gajah Mada (UGM) successfully developed online application of veterinarian consulting services. This technological innovation was designed to facilitate the public, especially pet owners in consultation with a veterinarian.
"Through website dokterhewanku.com, we expect to connect a veterinarian with animal owners without limitation of time and space," said CEO of online veterinarian consulting services, Muhammad Nury Nuha Naufal at UGM, yesterday.
Besides Naufal from Faculty of Engineering, the other two members are Ibnu Mahmudin from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Nanang Makfi Mubarok from Faculty of Engineering. According to Naufal, the website could be accessed via laptop or smartphone. All features of website could be accessed for free by pet owners.
"Currently, there are more than 100 users of Dokterhewanku.com who are owner of pets," he explained.
Through this website, pet owners could ask questions or consultation about the problems faced. The questions received would be answered by veterinarians who are online.
