No intimidation in cabinet reshuffle: President

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) confirmed that ministers reshuffle in the cabinet was his prerogative right, and no one was able to intimidate. It was stated by the President in his Instagram account, Sunday (3/1).

"Reshuffle is President's prerogative right. There should be no intimidation," Jokowi wrote.

The post was appreciated by Instagram users. Netizens hoped President Jokowi remain firm in choosing his assistants, with no single person or political parties interfere.

As is known, the issue of cabinet reshuffle blew at the end of 2015. Even PAN , who finally decided to join the government side, was admitted that they had offered two ministerial positions.

In addition, Special Committee of Parliament for Pelindo II case also urged President Jokowi to immediately remove the SOEs Minister Rini Soermarno. However, it was not yet known, who has intimidated the President in cabinet reshuffle.
