REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo inaugurated new building of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in Jalan Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday (29/12).
Cabinet ministers and leaders of state institutions were also attended the event. In addition, there were also former president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), former president BJ Habibie and former vice-president Hamzah Haz.
The KPK new building has concept of smart building, green building, and secure building. KPK chairman Agus Rahardjo, in his speech, stated that the inauguration of this building was considered as birthday present for 12th years of KPK.
"In this 12th birthday, we conduct soft opening of new building, even though the function is not yet completed," said Agus.
KPK new building was built since 29th November 2013, which was sustained by five pillars and has 16 floors. This building is only about 300 meters from the old building.
