Police arrests foreigners with 3.9 kilograms shabu

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Police officers of Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta, dismantled international networks of drug trafficking. The police also seized 9.9 kilograms of methamphetamine or shabu belonged to foreigners, named WHM (27) and HYC (20) in Kembangan, West Jakarta.

"The two suspects were arrested in a shopping center and apartment in Kembangan West Jakarta," said Deputy Chief of West Jakarta Police, AKBP Irsan in Jakarta, Tuesday (15/12).

Irsan said, information received by police stated that WHM came from Malaysia and HYC came from Taiwan. Based on that information, police officers of Tanjung Duren firstly seized evidence of 997 grams of methamphetamine in two packs from WHM.

Furthermore, the police officers also seized 2,934 kilograms of methamphetamine in three plastic bags in Kembangan Apartment. The police then arrested HYC which was allegedly acted as an agent who sent WHM to distribute methamphetamine.

The police officers also seized other evidences in form of one unit of electric scales, a suction tool (bong), a suitcase, a backpack, two units of mobile phones, and passports two suspects.
