REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) noted acquisition of funds from corporate actions in the capital market throughout 2015 reached Rp 115.35 trillion. It rose by 19.36 percent compared with the previous year of Rp 96.64 trillion.
"Total funds obtained from corporate actions in the capital market consists of IPO, issuance of new shares (rights issue), issuance of warrants, and issuance of bonds," said Head of Corporate Communications BEI, Dwi R Shara Shinta Sukarno, in a press release in Jakarta, Sunday (13/12).
He detailed, company's acquisition of funds from corporate actions through IPO reached Rp 9.10 trillion, through issuance of new shares reached Rp 45.85 trillion, through issuance of corporate bonds reached Rp 59.62 trillion, and through temporarily issuance of warrants reached Rp 780 billion.
BEI also noted, in the period of 7th to 11th December 2015 Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) move negatively or weakened by 2.55 percent from 4393.52 points on Friday (11/12), compared to the previous week that was in level 4508.452 points.
In that period, the average value of daily transactions on Indonesia Stock Exchange fell by 12.79 percent to Rp 5.22 trillion from Rp 5.99 trillion in the previous week. While, the average volume of daily transaction decreased by 9.08 percent with an average of daily frequency increased by 0.02 percent.
"From 7th to 11th December 2015, foreign investors' net selling in the stock market valued at Rp 704 billion. In annual basis, the flow of funds from foreign investors in the stock market still recorded a net sell of Rp 22.71 trillion," said Dwi.
In terms of new issuers, there were four companies that list its shares debut on the Stock Exchange, namely PT Dua Putra Utama Makmur Tbk, PT Atmindo Tbk, PT Indonesia Pondasi Raya Tbk, and PT Kino Indonesia Tbk. Thus the total companies listed on the Stock Exchange were 521 companies.
