REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- AKR Land Development has succeeded in finishing work at the top floor of a high rise building of Gallery West Office Tower, which would house office rooms, hotel and shopping mall in Kebon Jeruk West Jakarta.

"The 36-floor building will house office rooms occupying 22 floors totaling 31,000 square meters, a hotel occupying seven floor totaling 7,500 squarer meters and commercial space occupying four floors," Chief Executive Officer of AKR Land Development, Widijanto, said here on Saturday.

Widijanto said after the completion of the construction of the Gallery West Office Tower, AKR would concentrate on the construction of Gallery West Residences, with topping off target by the end of 2016.

"Altogether, the Gallery West Office Tower and Gallery West Residences are main elements of the Gallery West, which is designed to be a premium super block, which would have Gallery West Facility Building, World Class Hotels/A Loft Hotel by W Hotel.

In line with the concept of "gallery" in building, there would be gallery or museum of international standard to be an important icon, to display world class arts works such as Mark Rothko and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

In addition there would be Luxury Car Gallery, Ballroom, Outdoor Swimming Pool, BBQ Deck & Lounge, Commercial Retail Space and Banking & ATM Area.

The location is strategic as it would have immediate access - exit door to Kebun Jweruk toll road, only 10 minutes by car to the Soekarno Hatta International Airport and only 5 minutes to Jakarta ring road.

"Gallery West would soon become a new CBD (central business district)," Widijanto said.
