REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Indonesian government would bring three main issues in the Summit of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in Manila, Philippines, 18th to 19th November. This was conveyed by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Retno Marsudi, after reporting preparation for APEC summit to the Vice President Jusuf Kalla, in Jakarta, Tuesday (10/11).
"I and the Trade Minister (Thomas Lembong) reported to the Vice President of preparations for Indonesia's participation in APEC summit, in Manila from 18-19 November," said Retno Marsudi, in Jakarta, Tuesday (10/11).
The three major issues that would be taken of Indonesian delegation are related to commodity that support sustainable development, such as palm oil, infrastructure cooperation, and cooperation in maritime.
"It is an ongoing issue that we try to discuss in APEC since Indonesia's leadership before," she added.
Foreign Minister and Trade Minister would be left first for Manila to attend the ministerial meeting in the series of the APEC summit. The Vice President then was scheduled to conduct a working visit to Philippines on 17th to 20th November and attend the APEC summit.
