Crew to start first shoot of 'Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika' in New York and San Fransisco

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SAN FRANCISCO -- The movie, 'Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika' (Moon Divided in America’s Sky) would start filming in New York and San Fransisco. In the United States (US), the movie crews were welcomed by Consulate General of Indonesia in San Fransisco.

"When they knew that we will start filming in the US, Mr. Ardi Hermawan asked us to meet up and offered cooperation," said the producer of the movie, Ody Mulya Hidayat, Friday (6/11).

Besides Consulate General of Indonesia in San Francisco, the movie was also supported by Consulate General of Indonesia in New York. Consular of Economy and Culture,  Winanto Adi, said the Consulate General could bridge collaboration programs with filmmakers in New York.

"Including a filming location of Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika which the filming will be taken in a month," he said.

'Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika' the movie was originally from a best seller novel with the same title. It told the journey of Hanum and Rangga to uncover the mysteries of the 9/11 tragedy in New York. Both of them have a duty to answer the article 'Would the World be better without Islam?'.

'Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika' the movie showed that America had been divided and fragmented after the 9/11 tragedy. The movie was inspired by real events from the families of victims of the tragedy at the World Trade Center.
