India Vice President to inaugurate Business Forum meeting in Indonesia

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Vice President of India, Mohammad Hamid Ansari, would be paying his official visit to Indonesia from 1st to 4th November 2015 at the invitation of Vice President of Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla. Ansari was scheduled to inaugurate Business Forum meeting, which was being held on 3rd November 2015.

"There will be 20 companies from India. We don't need more people, but those who can really engage on business," said Indian Ambassador to Indonesia, Gurjit Singh, in Embassy of India, Wednesday (28/10).

According to Singh, India has opportunity in its friendship with Indonesia to get mutual benefit in business. India has provided jobs for Indonesian people and hope that many Indonesian companies are also interested in coming to India.

"We can do together and understand each other," he added.

Not only to inaugurate Business Forum meeting, Indian Vice President who would be accompanied by his entourage, was also planned to give a public lecture organized by Ambassador of India, Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI) on 2nd November 2015.

"The Vice Presidents is scheduled to arrived in Bali in the evening of 3rd November 2015 to deliver a lecture and unveil a bust of Mahatma Gandhi in Udayana University before his departure to Brunei.
