REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG -- West Java Provincial Government targeted the construction of Ciawi-Sukabumi toll roads to be completed in late 2017 or early 2018. The toll roads construction was already planned since 1997, but until now it had not been realized.
"It's been long enough, hopefully it can be completed no later than the end of 2017 or in early of 2018," said Governor of West Java, Ahmad Heryawan, Saturday (24/10).
According to him, Ciawi-Sukabumi toll roads length was around 60 kilometer. He hoped the toll roads could be completed in line with the end of her tenure as Governor of West Java.
"Every time I return to my hometown in Sukabumi I always be asked by Sukabumi's people about the construction of Ciawi-Sukabumi toll roads," he continued.
One of the obstacles faced in the construction of the toll roads, were investments and land acquisition. However, those obstacle would not happen again in the future.
"Previously, the investment should be 96 percent before tender, now it was only 10-15 percent," he added.
