REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG -- The results of examination of Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (Kemenpupera) showed that Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) Stadium was safe and feasible for the opening and closing ceremony of PON Jabar 2016.

According to Governor of West Java, Ahmad Heryawan, West Java Provincial Government had received a letter from the ministry related to the condition of GBLA stadium.

"Insha Allah GBLA is safe, we have the letter," said the man who is familiarly called as Aher, Friday (16/10).

However, Aher added, he could not yet determine whether the opening and closing ceremony of PON Jabar 2016 can be done in GBLA Stadium.

"We currently process it. Possibility, the opening of PON could be there," he continued.

Aher hoped, GBLA Stadium could be used by public to do exercise. He did not want the construction of GBLA stadium would be neglected although currently it was in the process of law alleged corruption in its construction.

"The legal proceedings was still running," he added.
