REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAKASSAR -- National SAR Agency (Basarnas) stated, they need eight hours to reach the evacuation site of Aviastar aircraft. Aviastar Twin Otter aircraft were found crashed in Ulusalu Village, Latimojong District, Luwu, South Sulawesi.

"The evacuation uses four helicopters. To get to the crash site, we have to spend approximately eight hours," said Director of Operations and Exercises of Basarnas, Brigen TNI (Mar) Ivan Ahmad Rizki Titus, in Makassar, Tuesday (6/10).

He said, it was because the location of the crash was quite difficult. Ivan claimed, the evacuation process will use stretchers after the bodies put in bags that have been prepared.

"From Ulusalu, the team walk again, because we can't bring cars to Gamaru Village. It took about four hours," he added.

Earlier, during the search in the second day, Head of Basarnas, Marshal TNI FH Bambang Soelistyo said the evacuation site of Aviastar aircraft was 80 percent mountains.
