Three Indonesian pilgrims die in Mina work in Bin Laden company

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MECCA - Number of Indonesian citizens who became victims of hajj stampede in Arab Road 204, Mina, Saudi Arabia, has increased. Hajj Committee (PPIH) of Saudi Arabia confirmed that there were five other pilgrims and three people who were dwelt in Saudi Arabia, died in the accident.

Head of Work Area of Mecca, Arsyad Hidayat, said the number of pilgrims who are victims increased by five people.

"Previously, the pilgrims who died were 14 people. It was increased to become 19 people," said Head of Work Area of Mecca, Arsyad Hidayat, Sunday (27/9) local time, as reported by journalist of Republika.co.id, Ratna Puspita, from Mecca.

A victim came from fleet SUB 48 Surabaya Embarkation, named Nero Sahi Astro. Two victims were from fleet SUB 61 Surabaya Embarkation, named Rochmani Pawiroredjo Karsodikromo and Siti Muanifah Zainudin Sahlan.

Another victim came from fleet JKS 61 Jakarta-Bekasi Embarkation, named Rasno Asyidik Kardan. Lastly, a victim was from fleet SOC 62 Solo Embarkation, named Sri Prabandari Markani.

In addition, Saudi Arabia has also identified pilgrims from Indonesia who were dwelt in Saudi Arabia, namely Akhmad Jamhuri bin Hisyam, Wartoyo Usman Kalib, and Asdinur Sanuri Hamzah.

"The three victims worked at Bin Laden company," said Arsyad.

Their identity of the three victims were known from Iqomah, an identity card for people who lived in Saudi Arabia. Arsyad stated funeral arrangements of Indonesian pilgrims who died will be taken care by maktab.
