REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- In the midst of economic slowdown, the number of Indonesian tourists in Netherlands did not experience a significant decline. General Manager of Aviareps Indonesia, Kunto Aji, from Holland Alliance, revealed that the number of Indonesian tourists visited Netherlands have increased.
"According to survey, the number of tourists by 2014 was about 42 thousand people. It increased to 8 percent from the previous year,"said Kunto, at Hotel Indonesia, Jakarta.
Kunto said, a visit to Netherlands has become a necessity, not only as desire for most tourists. Meanwhile, Holland Alliance, only serves as a provider of information for tourists who want to travel or vacation to Netherlands.
"Holland Alliance does not have a program such as students exchange. We only help to provide information needed by tourists and travel industry to Netherlands," Kunto added.
Holland Alliance is a strategic partnership formed by four partners, namely NBTC Holland Marketing, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Amsterdam Marketing. Holland Alliance aims to jointly promote the Netherlands as a travel destination by using the brand "Holland."
