REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Before running in the election of Governor of Jakarta in 2017, Adhyaksa Dault was deemed to have fulfilled the characteristics of an ideal leader of Islam.

Vice Chairman of Commission II of the House of Representatives, Ahmad Riza Patria, said the former Minister of Youth and Sports is very feasible to lead Jakarta. In addition to a good track record in politic, he said that Adhyaksa was considered as one of national Muslim leaders in Indonesia.

"Adhyaksa has met four characteristics, of the ideal leader according to Islam. We really need a leader like him," said Riza, Sunday (20/9) afternoon.

Regarding the four characteristics of an ideal leader according to Islam, Riza explained that the first characteristic is siddiq. While leading a number of agencies, Adhyaksa has shown an honest leadership and it has never been problems.

Moreover, Adhyaksa can be trusted to lead and carry out tasks, in particular to be the Governor of Jakarta. Adhyaksa has tabliq characteristic, which can be seen during this time that he was very communicative.

Lastly, Adhyaksa is also fathonah or has intelligent character in leading, particularly when leading the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
