SBY conveyed condolences over crane accidents in Masjidil Haram

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Former President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), conveyed his condolences on the fall of a crane at Masjidil Haram, Mecca, that caused hundreds of hajj pilgrims died, Friday (11/9).

"I sent my deep condolences on the accident occurred in Masjidil Haram, Friday,  11th September," wrote SBY in his official twitter account, @SBYudhoyono, Saturday (12/9).

The Chairman of Democratic Party was also prayed that all the victims who died, could be given the best place on the side of Allah, and the family who was left, could be strong.

"For the survivors who were injures, may soon be recovered and given health. May Allah always protect us all," he wrote again.

As reported earlier, a crane used for the construction of the roof of Masjidil Haram, was fell, on Friday (11/9) afternoon local time. Hundreds of pilgrims became victims. Allegedly, the crane fell was due to strong winds accompanied by rain that hit Mecca.
