REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- 258 pilgrims from Jakarta did not have visa yet. This caused the late of departure for some pilgrims from the predefined schedule.
According to the Head of Document PPIH, Jakarta-Pondok Gede embarkation, Asrar Rusli, from 5,653 passports that were given to the Embassy of Saudi Arabia, only 5,395 visa that were recently released. The remaining 258 pilgrims were still waiting for their visa.
"Everyone will be going, we will try to get it," Asrar said, Jakarta, Sunday (23/8).
Asrar explained the pilgrims will get re-scheduler departure. Right after getting visa, the pilgrims will immediately be dispatched to the next fleet.
The delay of visa were not only happened in Jakarta, but also in several areas. “The whole passport that already were submitted to the embassy will definitely get a visa," said Asrar.
