Purwakarta Regent invited to make a speech at UN Headquarters

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- International Young Leaders Assembly (IYLA), specifically invited regent of Purwakarta, West Java, Dedi Mulyadi, to make a speech at the UN headquarters in New York, USA.

Deputy Executive Director of IYLA, Magali Careces, said that IYLA is inviting Dedi Mulyadi, because he has a great vision to build Purwakarta. Moreover, today Purwakarta has become one of the best areas in Indonesia.

"Dedi is able to integrate culture, innovation, creativity, and collaboration in building his region," said Cereces, through a press release to the Republika Online, Friday (14/8).

Dedi also has a strong commitment to motivate Indonesia young leaders, to be more productive. Dedi’s thought would bring very positive to social changes.

Meanwhile, Dedi will go to the United States by bringing souvenirs from Purwakarta, such as, Satai Maranggi and Menong. Dedi will also wear his Sundanese cloth, namely pangsi.
