REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of National Development and Reform of China, Xu Shaoshi, met Vice President Jusuf Kalla at the Vice President's office, Jakarta. In this meeting, they discussed the high speed rail project Jakarta-Bandung route.
"He is very concerned about China-Indonesia bilateral relationship. We establish cooperation between China and Indonesia to build a high speed rail from Jakarta to Bandung," Xu Shaoshi said, in Jakarta, Tuesday (11/8).
He also explained the proposal of China in the construction of a high speed rail project. However, he refused to mention the investment value of the project.
"And we also look forward to the support of the Vice President in the construction of the high speed rail project," he added.
The Vice President also refused to mention the value of the investment. JK said that, in this project, Indonesia can choose who offered better investment between Japan and China.
