Indonesia will become stage of the world in World Expo Milano 2015

An Indonesian who lived in Italy, Maria Ardiningtyas, wrote his impression about Indonesia Pavilion in the World Expo Milano 2015. After the seventh visit on 31st July 2015, Maria is now believe that Didi Petet was able to smile in ‘heaven’

Didi Petet is the CEO of Koperasi Pelestari Budaya Nusantara (KPBN) which managed Indonesia Pavilion in World Expo Milano 2015. The cultural observer that really loves Indonesia, passed away a few days after the event was officially opened.

The death of Didi Petet raises a question of how the continuation of the Indonesia Pavilion, in which the pavilion build to promote Indonesia. However, because of the supports of all sides, especially the governments, the Indonesia pavilion turned to be stage of the world until the expo ends on 31st August 2015.

"It's an unexpected metamorphosis," he said.

Now, Indonesia pavilion is advanced. It supports with unique culinary from Bogor Cafe Desa Restaurant. In one day, the pavilion can be visited by 19 thousands people.

On weekends, visitors of Indonesian pavilion are more crowded. To celebrate Indonesia Independence Day, the committee prepares special events on 15th to 17th August 2015.

"There will be citizens party during the Indonesia Independence Day," said Alan Muda Satria, from Indonesia Pavilion PR team, during a meeting with bloggers.
