National police chief instructs Papua police chief to solve Tolikara incident

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Police Chief General Badrodin Haiti instructed the new Papua Regional Police Chief, Brigadier General Paulus Waterpaw in order to resolve the Eid incident in Tolikara, Papua. He affirmed that law enforcement should be continued.

Then, the approach with local authorities should also be carried out. It was important because Papua has a uniqueness that was composed of many tribes that could stand alone.

"That approach is important to improve public confidence," said Badrodin.
