REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Police Chief General Badrodin Haiti will not be hasty to say the incident of Tolikara because of the circular letter to forbid the Eid prayer from the Agency Workers of Evangelical Church in Indonesia (BP GIDI).

He said that, the police will know exactly the cause of the incident after receiving an explanation from the witnesses. "We cannot accuse before there are any corroborating evidence," said Badrodin, at Police Headquarters, on Wednesday, July 22.

However, Badrodin asserted if on the examination of witnesses or suspects lead to the circular letter, then it will be followed up. According to Badrodin, there were many factors need to be examined.

"Various factors could influence it, including in the discussions, the seminar itself, including information about the existence of Regional Regulation (Perda) was also affecting it," said Badrodin.
