Ahok says not satisfied with BPK's reports

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama admitted that he was not satisfied with the Report of Examination (LHP) of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) on Jakarta Local Government Financial Reports (LKPD) 2014.

As on Monday, July 6, DPRD DKI Jakarta has held a plenary session of LHP from BPK. While the findings itself read out by one of the Five People of BPK Members, Moermahadi Soerja Djanegara.

There were four opinions of BPK, among of them the reasonable without exception (WTP), the reasonable with the exception (WDP), not reasonable and not to give opinions. BPK provided opinions on 2014 same with the opinion on 2013 were the reasonable with exception (WDP).

"Not satisfied (with report of BPK), if we become government, it should be WTP, not WDP. If the means it nice and nothing but," said Ahok nickname of Basuki at City Hall Jakarta, on Monday, July 6.

He revealed that the same reports obtained as a year earlier. There were various problems such assets and cooperation agreements with third parties that went wrong.

"We also hope that BPK make us strong recommendation to submit to the court about the decision of cooperation," said the former regent of East Belitung.

In its report, BPK found the government was experiencing the control system weakness of capital expenditure over 85 work packages procurement resulting in a loss indication region of Rp 214.29 billion.

In addition, BPK also found other problems, joint use of 30.88 acres of land assets in Mangga Dua with a company, a weak monitoring and control. The purchase of land plots for the purchase of a hospital in West Jakarta also not through the adequate procurement processes accordingly.
