REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of Environment and Forestry, Siti Nurbaya hoped that the eco drive campaign could be improved. She considered, this campaign has many positive effects both for society and for the environment.

"This event should not only be held once a year," she said after inaugurated the eco drive fun rally in the east parking Senayan, Jakarta on Saturday, June 20. Siti hoped that this event could be held at least twice a year.

It's possible, she added, a similar campaign will be held while welcoming the Independence Day on 17 August. She also hoped, the coverage for future events could be expanded. "Eco drive must also campaigned on the education facility as well as in several regions in Indonesia," she said.

According to Siti, the eco drive campaign on this time with theme 'fuel saving and low emissions'. The target of the event was to increase savings in fuel consumption and operating costs.
