REPUBLIKA.CO.ID,  JAKARTA -- A total of 119 president directors of State Owned Enterprises (BUMN) this afternoon went to the Presidential Palace, Jakarta. According to the Minister of State Owned Enterprises, Rini Soemarno, in this meeting is also planned to do signing of three memorandums of understanding (MoU) of projects.

This cooperation is conducted in order to improve the synergy between state-owned enterprises. "There is signing of MoU. Related to synergy between BUMN,” said Rini when arrived at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, on Monday, May 18.

Furthermore, Rini said the signing of a MoU was partly carried out between PT Pelindo I (Persero) with banks and PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) with construction service providers.

"Pelindo I with banking, then Krakatau Steel with construction services so they use steel from Krakatau Steel," said Rini.

According to Rini, the cooperation between PT Pelindo I with PT Jasindo included financing of Pelindo I project which is worth of 3.7 trillion IDR. Furthermore, Rini said, President Jokowi will give direction to the 119 president directors of BUMN that are expected to increase BUMN synergy.

"How we could be more synergy, more efficiency so resulting in improved performance," said Rini.

In this meeting also attended by Director of State Electricity Company (PLN) Sofyan Basir, President Director of Jasamarga Adityawarman, Managing Director of BNI Achmad Baiquni, President Director of Bank Mandiri Gunawan Budi Sadikin, and President Director of BTN Maryono.
