REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDA ACEH -- The governors of all provinces on Sumatra Island held a two-day coordination meeting in the Aceh provincial city of Banda Aceh on May 12-13, 2015, to discuss numerous issues related to development.

"We have nine development-related issues to be discussed during the coordination meeting," Aceh Governor Zaini Abdullah said here on Wednesday (13/5).

He noted that the nine development issues are strategic to improve the competitiveness of the island of Sumatra at the ASEAN level.

"The nine strategic issues are part of an ideal development agenda to support equitable economic growth across Sumatra Island," the Aceh governor remarked.
