REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (Kadin) Regional Empowerment Field, Natsir Mansyur admitted cabinet reshuffle could affect Indonesia's image among investors.

"There no need to reshuffle cabinet, because if there is a reshuffle in the first half, the new minister must make adjustments again," said Natsir through a written statement, Jakarta, on Monday, May 11.

Natsir said, rather than overhaul the composition of the cabinet, it will be better if the government improve the investment climate by reducing rules that hamper the business world, ranging from legislation (UU), Government Regulation (PP), Minister’s Regulation (Permen) to Presidential Decree (Keppres).

"The important one, the thing that inhibit needs to be addressed. Although we are talking about an investment or economic movement, but all the rules if not trimmed properly then the national economy movement will slow too," he said.
