Jokowi to visit Indonesia-Malaysia border areas in W Kalimantan

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PONTIANAK -- President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo is scheduled to visit several locations in West Kalimantan that border Malaysia on January 20 and 21, a military official said.

Tanjungpura XII Military Commander Major General Toto Rinanto made the statement here on Saturday after a meeting at the office of the provincial governor of West Kalimantan, which was held to prepare for the president's visit.

President Jokowi is expected to inaugurate the Mujahidin Mosque, Rinanto affirmed, adding that he will visit the districts of Landak and Mempawah.

During his official tour, Jokowi will also inspect Tayan Bridge, Lake Sentarum, and Entikong.
