Indonesian crude price declined in December 2014

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Indonesian crude price (ICP) saw a US$15.83 per barrel fall to US$59.56 per barrel in December 2014 from US$75.39 per barrel the previous month.

The ICP averaged US$59.56 per barrel in December compared to US$75.39 per barrel in November, the Indonesian oil price team of the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry said in a press statement released on Tuesday (6/1).

The price of main oil of Minas/SLC type in December was recorded at US$60 per barrel, down by US$16.33 per barrel from US$76.33 per barrel the previous month.

ICP tumbled in November, as well, to US$8.33 per barrel from US$83.72 per barrel in October.

Earlier, the Finance Ministry stated that ICP averaged US$97 per barrel in 2014, which was US$8 lower than the set target of US$105 per barrel in the revised 2015 state budget.

Last year, ICP was recorded at US$105.8 per barrel in January, US$106.08 per barrel in February, US$106.9 per barrel in March, and US$10644 per barrel in April.

It was recorded at US$106.2 per barrel in May, US$108.95 per barrel in June, US$104.63 per barrel in July, US$99.51 per barrel in August, US$94.97 per barrel in September, US$83.72 per barrel in October, US$75.39 per barrel in November, and US$59.56 per barrel in December.
