REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Government is studying to decrease the price of subsidized fuel or premium. The step is taken as the price of non-subsidized fuel, or Pertamax, is declining.

"We will study the price. We will see the development," Vice President Jusuf Kalla said on Monday, December 15.

Meanwhile, Coordinating Minister of Economy Sofyan Djalil said government was considering several options on fuel price. "We will issue a policy before the end of the year," he said.

Indonesian state oil and gas company PT Pertamina recently declined Pertamax from 10,500 IDR per litre to 9,950 IDR per litre. The move decreases the price gap between premium and pertamax.
