REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Rivalry between Red and White Coalition (KMP) of Prabowo Subianto and Great Indonesian Coalition (KIH) of President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo will come to an end. Both coalitions, represented by elites, made a deal on Saturday, November 8.

"We will conclude the details next week," Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) Zulkifli Hasan said on Sunday, November 9. He added that both party leaders had intensely communicated to set aside their differences.

A senior politician at the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) Pramono Anung admitted that they had found a solution to end the conflict. The former Member of Parliament said KMP would accommodate KIH with internal bodies. "We have 16 internal bodies. With the agreement, we will form more than 16," Anung said.

Anung refused to specify the details of the internal bodies as they were still being discussed. He will meet Hatta Rajasa to talk on that matter. "We target the internal bodies to be filled before recess period on December 5," he said.
