REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is expected to introduce his cabinet ministers at 4 pm on Sunday, according to Deputy Chairman of Jokowi's Transition Team Andi Widjajanto.

"The cabinet members are likely to be introduced in the premise between the Merdeka Palace and the State Palace at 4 pm on Sunday," Widjajanto said midnight on Friday.

He said that the inauguration of the cabinet members would likely be carried out in the State Palace at 11 am on Monday, October 27.

President Jokowi will receive the leaders of the House of Representatives (DPR) with regard to the House's considerations on the ministry's nomenclature. The President has previously written to the DPR asking for considerations regarding the nomenclature of ministries the president is going to post ministers.

Widjajanto said that the president until now was still conducting assessment on the results of the Corruption Eradication Commission's (KPK's) scrutiny (on his prospective ministers).

"The cabinet lineup will not be announced tonight. The president still has to carry out assessment and finalization of the lineup based on the results of the KPK's scrutiny," Widjajanto stated.

Earlier, Jokowi's Transition Team submitted 43 names of prospective ministers to the KPK for track record check.

The KPK has returned to the president the results of its examinations, giving yellow and red marks to prospective ministers who have the potential to be involved in legal cases.

Based on the results of the KPK check, President Jokowi would replace eight of the prospective ministers, causing the delay in the announcement of the cabinet lineup which was earlier scheduled on Wednesday, October 22, 2014.
