Yudhoyono asks supports for Jokowi

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono asked all Indonesian citizens to give supports for the elected president, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo in running the upcoming state's administration. According to him, the challenges for the next president will be harder than today based on competition in current political climate.

"Give your supports for the new president to help him in conducting the state's tasks properly," Yudhoyono said on Thurday.

Indonesia needs good discretion and efforts to bring all elements together. President Yudhoyono also hopes that all state officials will maintain harmony, tolerance and promote Indonesia in future.

Chairman of People's Consultative Assembly, Zulkifli Hasan previously asked all parties in the country to work together to make a successful inaguration of Jokowi and Jusuf Kalla as president and vice president on Oct 29, 2014. All people must stop the negative thingking related to the inaguration.

The Assembly speaker reminded that the presidential inaguration was a national agenda. He confirmed that the discomfiture issues of presidential inaguration would not happen.
