REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Law and Human Rights Denny Indrayana underwent questioning at the Attorney General's Office on Friday in connection with a graft case at the ministry.

"I should like to affirm that I was questioned at the Attorney General's Office as the one who has revealed the graft case at the directorate general of law and general administration," he said.

Denny said he was questioned as a witness in the case against two officials of the ministry identified by their initials as LH and NA.

"I was questioned as a witness. A witness is distinguished as one who knows the facts and one who has to do with internal investigations," he said after questioning at the oval building of the Attorney General's Office.

The deputy minister, who arrived at the building at around 09.00 pm local time, said he was questioned by special crime investigators for about one and a half hours. Also, he expressed his hope that investigators would investigate other suspects who might be implicated in the case.

"I fully support the investigation conducted by the Attorney General's Office. I am ready to come to the Attorney General's Office any time if investigators need my testimony," he said.
